That should be quite the improvement over the stock tranny. We received 2 Bully clutches this week that are designed to work with the LSJ/T56 combo.
Make sure you keep me (us) informed as you move along in your project.

For the street we will tune for about 450 whp so boost will be in the mid to upper 20's.
Now that we have gone with the billet crankshaft, we expect the hp to be between 1100-1200 bhp.
Sssshhhhhhh, that was classified

Thanks.
We are still deciding whether to do GM's way of putting the headstuds right into the bottom of the block.
Our head is a full race head and yes keeping the head down with high boost needs special attention.
Anything done to the head to keep that much power INSIDE the motor? lol A buddy was sayin that anything past about 320 on a stock LSJ would almost blow the head off, that true?

by putting the head studs or some anyway right throug the head, block and bottom end cap your taking stress off the block in with standing forces to hold the head on and the bottom end on and concentrates structure to withstand just the internal combustion forces. I honestly cant see the engine being built any other way to provide the most strength. When I saw that I thought that was the smartest way to to keep things together and prevent studs ripping out of the block as the head will be have tremendous forces against it from being boosted 50lbs. Just do it, IMO

I know, it hardly seems enough for the street.
I wonder how long it will be before I forget to switch back from the track tune.
