Well, I guess I just need to brush up on my "techniques" then. I bet I could get into without you knowing. I have my ways, but we will not go there.

Sorry to thread jack, but you still looking for a TwinScrew? I saw someone was selling one in the "Parts Section"

@victory_red_SS - It's always nice to get some new parts in. And like I said before this is gonna be a nasty "kinda" sleeper, and the Turbo is damn near as big as the motor....

Nope, not looking for a twinscrew as I own one already. Rebel just has mine right now until they are done testing.

Besides the alarm, there is also a password that needs to be typed in before the car will start. And I don't think explosives are the way to go.

Here are some more parts for the car.

The turbo header (not finished)

The exhaust manifold.

Small turbo plumbing.

Drysump setup.

Copper gaskets for turbo flanges (plus extra's)

Theses boxes aren't much to look at but the contents took a lifetime to receive.

Stereo equipment, and yes I know it's Kenwood but this is a "GO" car not a "show" car.

And for those of us that don't like wiring, this is just plain scary.

A password like in the audi of transporter 2? I always thought that was a cool way to go.

Rod, I don't always need explosives to get into something. We are taught other techniques as well and have a different set of tools for that since hands on approaches still have their place. Like collar bombs, I simply can't just shoot the bastard that has it strapped to them. The password would be a little harder to get around, but the paging system is an easy day.

Damn it all looks good buddy. The fabrication looks like it's coming along quite well.

Work hard in school and afterwards because as you say, "this isn't cheap"

I know and once it is finished and coated it will be even sexier.

I haven't seen that movie in a while so I don't remember that one.
My car has an onboard computer, which runs both DOS and Windows.
There will be a wireless keyboard built into the car, for typing in the password as well as for use with the standalone fuel management computer (standalone runs in windows)

If you can get around that easily, you should also be able to help me stop that from happening.

We are making some very good progress since it got to JBP. I think we are still aways away from completion so if you steal it now, I will give you sometime to finish it before we come looking for it. As I type this I realize I need to lo-jack this car. Thanks for the idea guys.

Don't worry, just because I can get around it doesn't mean everyone has the tools to do so. I highly doubt anyone will be able to use the trick I have up my sleeve. That Viper system should do the trick quite well though to deter the avearage car theif. Don't worry Rod I will never steal a car and you live too far away anyhow! If I ever do get to see it, I would just like a ride because it is going to be awesome!

If you do see it in person, I am sure we can arrange a ride.

I hope your Cobalt project goes smoothly.

That is why I am paying someone to do that. The aggravation of that wiring mess can drive a person crazy and as the wife tells me, in my case that would be a very short drive.

I am sure that will go over like a lead balloon.
Besides, it will likely be when I get back to the hotel before I can post them. Just make it an early movie/dinner.
