Update
Here is my latest bit of news.
The engine isn't moving as fast as I want it to and I have given instructions to make this happen faster, by whatever means we need to.
The intercooler is coming along but it had to be re-designed slightly as the welders were having some issues with some of the tight spots. Also the manifold is being tapped for the extra injectors.
The standalone is still MIA as we are waiting on the company to write software for the staging of my 8 injectors. We have received other items need for the system and there is a pic of them.
The wiring is progressing and the fusebox is installed along with the MSD ignition controller. There has been a lot of effort put into making the stock switches do what they do in the stock Cobalts, also shown in the pictures. The wiring will soon start for the engine in anticipation of receiving the standalone back.
The T-56 is at the transmission shop. The internals have been sent out to be cryo treated and then the T-56 will be built.
The exhaust side of the turbo plumbing has been completed and the parts have been sent out for ceramic coating. Pictures not yet available. The charge pipes can't be completed yet until the intake manifold/intercooler is finished.
Pictures of the latest wiring
Intercooler tubes
Standalone parts
Turbo Switching Valve parts
Those two combined cost less then what he has spent so far.
While getting into a turn key car has some benifits, I really don't like the body style of either of those. Having said that, at one time I may have been able to buy them both.

The turbo switching valves will be controlled digitally to open and close at preset RPM's, optimizing the exhaust flow for which ever turbo needs it the most according to throttle placement.
Did you go behind stage and get Rush's consent to use the song???

No, it is to switch from one turbo to the other, allowing the smaller turbo to help spoll up the larger and help him keep/build boost better. At least, that was what the plan was originally.

If people would bother reading, they could actually figure out a rough price range. Hell, he has given us enough hints.
Edit: Woo Hoo! I was right! But I'll never tell.
