Warning!!! Dont do this..

We have finally started tuning my car after the build and got to drive it some starting to break in the new rings and what not. What I am referring to as in the title, in the build i added neutral balance shafts and I have solid motor mounts. Those two are not a good mix unless you love EXCESSIVE vibration, I mean it is insane. Just a warning for future builds. I am now about to switch to the new rotated mounts as they cause less vibration.

That will surely happen with that combo. Can't wait to see the full potential when all is said and done though!

wont always happen. i built a friends motor with levelzero balance shaft delete kit and urethane mounts, its smooth as butter. i however do a step many deem unessesary, i send the rotating assembly out for balancing. i have a very pickey engine balancer, most will get each hole (rod, piston, rings, bearings, pin) to within 2 grams, my balancer gets each peice down to 0.2 grams and balances the rods end to end.

balancing is a very cheap step of building a performance engine, i dont know why so many people dont bother, there are deffinite payoffs.
