holy ****, ur pulley wobbles??? i hope u dont snap some of the bolts holding ur pulley on form all the slappin around it's doin. u need to get that fixed asap and ur stock coupler is gona make noise, everyones does! if it bothers u that much then get one of the aftermarket ones mentioned before in the thread. i think theres a how-to on replacing this.

Haha no no man...

My pulley DOES NOT wobble...

I was saying to test for a bad coupler, you take off the belt, and twist the pulley back and forth and check for a wobble. If there is play and wobble then the coupler holes are worn and it needs replaced...

I will likely replace my coupler and oil when I have it all apart painting it...

Haha yea... That would be a scary situation... But no I just have the clicking marbles sound coming from the blower. It started after I ported the outlet and threw a 2.7" on it. Soo the coupler is likely going, or the bearings in the inlet side...

Yea, I'll def check all the internals. I just don't know of any way to check the bearings though. And supposedly they are a bitch to replace since they are press fit into a blind hole, so they are hard to remove...

Yea yea, I just hate paying for dumb **** like that. I like DIY stuff. I'll replace the coupler first and go from there.

Nice Evo's BTW...

thank yuh (i still have my SS/SC btw i just dont drive it). and they could probably do it pretty fast and dont charge too much. i've never been to a machine shop with unreasonable prices.

but if u do have them do it u should post up results and pics. could turn out to be a nice little how-to.

Alright fellas, relax... No harm, no foul... Yes Taz, I actually have prolly one of the biggest bolt on SS/SC in the PGH area, besides the big dogs with cams, pistons, blower & turbo swaps, etc... I thought you knew that from chatting in the PGH thread.

And Mnatvyc1223 does still have a SS/SC, he stated it earlier in the thread.

But anyways, I just bought a ZZP Coupler and Oil, soo I'll see if that fixes the problem...

Nice good stuff, I used to ride my bike down the parkway when I was going to Duquesne from Monroeville, and there have been quite a few times I've done about that because people have tried to "race me" in their POS car... Game over... </threadjack>
