well boys and girls i did again..
my cat melted again....sEcond time in less than a month!!!! crap!! i was racing a Pontaic GXP SC an i do have to say that thing had sum ***** cause i had ALOTof troulbe pullin on him but after we raced i noticed i was overboostin bad... maxed out my gauge an it went down to like 1-3psi. my exahust note changed an went from to normal to obnoxiously loud to quite again... huge loss in performance gauge is showin me goin into boost really quick under light throttle...iam just gonna cut it out tomarrow an throw a straight pipe in lol

i dont...gas is to expensive lol i do alot of high way crusing miles this cat only had 1000-1200 miles on it... ive been very easy cause it was on thing after another breakin on me...

iam gonna be down grading to a intese 2.8 that i have sitting in my trunk i just havent had the time or the tools to change it cause i have to drive 60 miles to my dadsto do the work lo

Do you have an aftermarket cat in there? If you went anywhere other than the dealership, or called around for estimates, then they may have given you the cheapest aftermarket they could find to compete.
Most cars are fine for many years with an aftermarket cat, but I wouldnt be surprised if the Cobalt rejected one.
I would get a high flow performance cat, personally. I cant wait for mine to go! =D
