You're gonna need more than one set of spark plugs for tuning brotha.

What size turbo are you running? How much boost do you plan on?

yeah, blazin is right.. the only other thing worth mentioning is that i have the ported built head... but as far as psi goes, im going to take it to 25 and see where thats gets me. im trying to get ahold of bryan to tune me but hes either really busy or i take it he doesnt want to tune me.. either way, i need a GOOD tune..

Eh, Iridiums aren't as good w/ boost. Coppers are better. The reason someone told you to run the Iridiums is because they're two steps colder. Just so you know, if you want to try it out, NGK does sell race plugs (no resistor) in the 8 and 9 heat ranges. Those plugs are copper. Gimme a minute and I'll look up the part #. They're so much cheaper than the iridiums...

EDIT: NGK R5672A-8 (Part #7173) or NGK R5672A-9 (Part # 7405)

Both Bryan's are extremely busy and great tuners.

PM me if you want and I'll fill you in on what I'm doing...

Yeah, they're fine. The only difference is that the race plugs don't have a resistor so there's a chance of interference. Some PCM's have issues and most radios will get a little interference.

All of the brain trust on this site has used these plugs at one time or another and confirmed that they do not mess w/ the PCM, just a little radio squeal at high volumes that you may or may not notice...

where do you even get those? I looked at most of the sites and didnt even see them. the guy at OTTP PMed me on here and said they had the ST's which I knew, and was prolly going to order from them. so....hopefully that means he has them in stock.

http://www.turbotechracing.com/produ...dcategory=5616 but the problem is, they arent stocked.. theyre pretty much made to order. i know mine were.. they were supposedly shipped from florida last tuesady or wednesday so we'll see. and i had to get the +1MM oversized valves because the head was ported..
