what's crazy is when my srt-4 went from 14-18 w/ stage 2 it was a very noticeable increase, on my Cobalt I could feel the difference but not = to the SRT even though it's the same incease in boost. I am guessing the turbo is more efficient.

what most people don't understand is that more boost doesn't necesarily equal more power. 2 cobalts can race, and one making 14 psi can beat one making 18 psi. boost #'s are not everything.

it made the charge air denser, and so it probably did register a small increase in boost.
i dunno about 1.5lbs though...

*sigh*.. I'm going to have to make a video to prove this I suppose.. I've got it switched and I discovered it by accident.
Step 1 Added Methanol Kit w/ #5 Nozzle
Step 2 Was making wide open pulls in 3rd, saw 17.5 psi of boost, two times in a row
Step 3 Bought a downpipe, because I assumed the cat was clogged.
Step 4 Make More wide open pulls, see 17.5 still
Step 5 Turn off Methanol, see 16-16.5
Step 6 Turn Switch back on, and it's back at 17.5psi
Meh.. Video to come I suppose...

believe it or not stroker speaks the truth. i had snow performance stage 2. and before meth with my 2.8 i hit 15-16. and after i got the snow kit i would hit 17-18. well my snow kit took a dump so it out of the car and now i am back to 15-16. keep in mind that it does all depend on your exhaust mods. i have a header, catless dp, and full exhaust.
