I've had multiple people that I talk to have horrible experiences with the 79's. Coming to a stop they would have to sit there and rev their engine just to keep it from stalling, **** like that. And it wasn't with any halfrate tuner like zach06cobaltss tuning them either. IDK how 79's flow better than 80's, haven't looked into the flow rates either but don't really care, either way it doesn't really matter seeing as how everyone runs 80s now and has no complaints.

79lb are better on gas 80 are better on e85 there 2 different type of injectors. The 79lb where supposidly made by lucas per the vendors that sold them but 1 year later we found out lucas never made a 79lb injector. I think 79lb flow better than 80 when you raise the fuel pressure but no one has raised the pressure high enough to see and its kinda stupid because you will just **** up your fuel system

reason they're different is because of the spray pattern

Bingo.

And the "79's" are listed as Lucas on some vendors, but a quick search of ZZP and OTTP show only the 80's

The appeal of the 79s is that you can supposedly just change the flow rate and keep the same VAC/MAP tables as Stage 2. I could be wrong but I believe they also use the same harness as the S2 injectors.

I'd just go with 80s and utilize the Omega_5/04Redline injector spreadsheet:

people where using stage 2 maps because they where not able to find the flow charts for the injectors so someone just said use the stage 2 map and change the flow rate . i ran both and 80lb where better on e85 with my return kit it save me about 10% idc over the 79lbs. Oh and another thing op the 79lb dont flow what there stated they flow way lessl

If you already have 60#'s, just keep them and use the money towards a better fuel system.
