the normal time is 223*, which is when the fans kick in and cool you down. Mine used to do that all the time at idle, but since i got tuned, i set it to where they kick in at 200 and cool me down to 180.

i've noticed even the 2.2's pull harder at 180 then they do at 195
175-185 seems to be the sweet spot, above 190 and that engine feel heatsoaked
never got above 190 in the ss so i wouldn't know

Yeah i freaked the **** out when i got my stage 2 installed in my ss/sc and it was hitting 220-223*. I took it to the dealer and said somethings wrong and he said its normal. I was like damn thats hot

220 in tarffic, but it drops at a certain point, and dont turn ur A/C on full blast, it runs on a belt....Duh! unfortuneltly u just turn on the heater and just the fans turn on, but not even I myself will turn the heat on in the summer. but to each his own

yeah its norm..ive seen mine up too around 221 at the track and what not..it was a hot sticky night..around 80 humid too..car ran like ****..supercharger wasnt havin it..haha

so i spent some time watching the PLX readouts from the OBD2, and idling for a long time the temp goes up to 201 at that temp you hear the fans kick in temp keeps rising to 203 then drops back down to 177 to 180-185 and stays there. Of down the road, runs, 177-180 ....AIT are 77 idling and about 70 going down the road, so that tells you what the car is seeing at the MAF box...
