When adjusting the Bwoody Traction bar....
Do the wheels HAVE TO BE ON THE GROUND?
i didnt have mine on the ground when i adjusted them, now i get a ticking when driving on takeoff... i assume that is the reason.
can anyone shed some light on this?

traction bars
hey whats up when i got my bars, i talked right to the guy who owns bwoody performance. he told me that the car had to be on the ground. tighten by hand, once ypu cant turn them anymore, go one more complete turn with an adjustable wrench. this should do it.

yea i read the thread that had those instructions.. however, i was at work today and we cannot view websites outside our own, so i forgot if they have to be on the ground.
Also, i think my kit came with 2 extra flat washers.... On the frame side of the traction bar you only use 1 flat washer (which is between the frame and the nylon lock nut) right?

I loosened the traction bar and adjusted it correctly, now it ticks a LITTLE BIT, but it still does it enough to be annoying.
did i maybe adjust it too much... directions say 1/4 turn, i did about 1/2 turn
