Where Did My Boost Go!?
I have a 2006 SS/SC. As of a few days ago my car stopped making boost over 5psi. I did some Google-Fu and narrowed it down to a few possibilities. It could either be a boost leak somewhere, a faulty bypass solenoid or a faulty bypass valve. Am I missing anything? What do you think the likely culprit is?

Probably the valve or solenoid. You can bypass the solenoid to see if that's the problem.
To do this, you have to cap off/plug the vacuum line that runs from the bypass valve to the bypass solenoid. There should be a vacuum hose there now. Get 2 little pieces of vacuum hoses (couple inches) and attach one to the bypass valve and one to the bypass solenoid. Then plug them with a screw/bolt something similar and zip tie it. Or you can just get vacuum caps and put them on the nipple on the valve and solenoid. Once you plug/cap off both hoses then go do a pull.. If you get full boost back then it's your solenoid. If it's still the same, it's probably the bypass valve
Here's a picture. The hose in the middle is coming from the solenoid obviously and is plugged. The line i'm holding is the one coming from the bypass valve and it's plugged.
Hope this helps!
Also what are your mods?

That's not what I'm looking for. I actually already replaced the EVAP solenoid a month ago. I'm specifically looking for these:
Eaton - EATON Bypass Valve for LSJ #ETN-BYPSVL-LSJ

Just replaced all the hoses and that didn't fix it. Ordered a bypass solenoid that should arrive tomorrow. Hopefully that will fix the problem so I don't have to track down a bypass valve.

I actually just sprayed the rod and pushed it up and down with a flathead and it was moving pretty freely on its own. All I had was Liquid Wrench though. Should I grab a can of WD40 at AutismZone?

UPDATE: I didn't notice because but this time I had the idea to have my brother step on the gas (had to show him how to start a manual, lol) while I watched. The L rod on the bottom of the BPV stayed open or didn't move at all. Think I found the culprit.
I sprayed the **** out of it with WD40 but it didn't do anything. Going to unbolt it from the car this weekend to get at it better. Any tips? I'd rather not drop $175 on a new one if I didn't have to.
