Why hasnt someone re-engineered a STS...
Am I the only person that really wishes someone would come up with a STS for our cars to rid the reverse lockout?! Or did gm **** us in such a way that one cannot be created? i really wish there was a legit STS for our car. I have the TWM, and its much better than stock, but i feel our shifters could be alot shorter in height and throw still!
Anyone else feel this way or am i all alone?

then you can have a shorter shaft.. this shifter is so tall... without reverse lockout you can lower another 1-2" and that would be badass... sorry i had two german cars before this and their sts were super short

if you installed a STS you should realise how easy it is to rid yourself of the reverse lockout. its nothing but a bump in some plastic making you have to pull up on that level. file down the plastic and your good to go

oh it's definitely not a waste of time... just think, you could make posts and threads about it, spend a couple of hours removing it, and engage in hour long conversations on how much of an inconvenience it is to spend the extra 0.2 milliseconds to pull that up 3 times per day when you put the car in reverse
