While at the dealer, the service manager handed me a printout of a tranny case that had a crack in it and asked me if i had a problem yet with mine. I kinda laughed and said not that i know of. Well what it was, is a message that he had recieved to look out for people bringing in their cars for this problem. Well i walked off with it unknowingly so i got to reading it and it says that it's caused by Wheel Hop. Snapped Axles were also mentioned on this paper to watch for. It also says that it is a result of WOT acceleration and that it is not to be serviced under warrenty. Toward the bottom of the page it says that GM will have an upgrade in 2008 for the axles to assist in fixing the problem of wheel hop.

I know this is nothing really new but it was just something i read today and thought i would share with you guys.

Dave

If you're being sarcastic thats cool. I knew they didn't and i'm sure everyone else knows that also. I was just stating the fact that they had to implement that on the bulliten that they sent out.

yea, a buddy of mine has a SRT4 and they have wheel hop just as bad, if not worse than we do. He's already had to replace his axles.
