Wideband A/F Gauge

I am looking at getting a A/F Gauge was wondering what everyone else has. I also have a Vibrant Header/DP so I am assuming I will need to get an extra bung welded in. Is this bung the same as an O2 sensor and where is the best place to have it put at?

Did you get somone to put an extra bung in your dp? Just seeing what its going to take to install one of them. How much did you pay for your AEM?

The AEM UEGO, comes with a O2 bung included, you do need to take your downpipe off the car and then have the downpipe drilled and tig welded. I had my friend do it, it cost be a case of beer!

I had the exhaust shop do it the fist time, and they did a terrible job, they used a torch to cut out a hole, which left tons of metal drippage that hardened and disrupted the flow of the exhaust over the sensor head, and they mig welded the bung in place, looked like they gave a 5 year old, a torch and welder and had him go to town! Oh ya they put the bung straight up so the sensor was hitting the bottom of the car, almost broke it off the O2 sensor!

I then plugged that hole took the downpipe off and had my friend do the job correctly!..dont take it to a exhaust shop unless they have experience doing this, better is to have the downpipe right off the car then go to a welder and have him tig the bung on for you!

The AEM I got from stripper Motorsports for approx $260US Shipped!

The install isnt bad!! but you will need a 2 gauage pillar to mount the display gauge, I recommend Cobalt Addictions pillars! far superior to the current ZZP I have now (Yes I had a 2 gauge CA and a 3 gauge ZZP)
