If you look at our car wrong you'll get a CEL. So a downpipe will throw a couple codes probably.

You will have a P0420 code I believe which is because you do not have a cat. If the CEL comes on, which it will about 50miles after you install it, then simply unplug the battery for 5 mins and put it back on. That will clear the code. OR you could just simply buy an interceptor gauge and clear it from inside of your car right away.

an interceptor is a gauge, like your boost gauge, that shows you A LOT of different things about your car. I highly recommend you get one. It shows iat1, iat2, which is where i leave mine at, it also scans for codes, clears codes, and shows a lot more, has a shift light, etc. Its pretty cool.

Installation is accomplished by simply plugging the supplied connector into the OBD2 port
below the steering wheel and connecting a separate included wire to a switched 12v
vehicle power source. Virtually plug-and-play!

That does NOT clear a code, just resets all the car's monitors. You still wont pass inspection like that b/c all the monitors will show as not ready until they reset.. and when they do will prob throw the CEL again. Not a permanent answer to your problems.. lol.
