WTB: Opinions on FM H/E
I'm interested in getting a FM H/E for my cobalt. I've looked at several. OTTP, Cobalt Addiction, ZZ Performance, also Lightning Force Performance and if there are any other please let me know. I want opinions on what you guys think is the best front mount. I personally like the OTTP but I want other views. Also if there was any problems installing and drops in IAT2s would be great. Thanks

What is this new H/E thats coming out. Yah I know it'll cool my IAT2s a great deal, my IC pump is broke my current IAT2s just sit around 160-185 all the time unless im not on it and its cold outside. This is probably gonna be a winter purchase so sorry victoryss I have no money at the moment, since being laid off money is scarce. What is S2, S3, whats that mean?

Yah I know, the question is do I go aftermarket or try to get it replaced under warranty. Warranty yes is good but for it to go bad idk. I guess free is better no matter how long it last lol.

wow i'm surprised you still have a warranty.... but i wouldn't chance it with all the mods you have done to the car. replacing the IC pumps seems to be an easy thing to do, so if you are a mechanical kind of guy, just do it yourself. i know OTTP sells Bosch pumps for a decent price IMO, iirc they are direct replacements.

last year OTT sold the CX racing HE, ZZP was selling our stage 3 for $189. 6 months ago we hear you're coming out with the badest thing to hit the streets.

Turns out it was a China HE but sold well because people bought into the hype. We sell the same one over $50 cheaper and raised the price of our S3. Now we hear that you're 3rd release of a HE is going to be marvelous. My advice. Don't belive the hype

Now I admit that anything can be improved and amazing, etc. But I think a product should be based on it's achievements and technical merrits. So far the ZZP S3, despite being sabotaged here, has done just that.

I mean it can't hurt to ask, they have never really turned me down. As far as bosch I heard that they burn up just as fast as the OEM pump but I've also heard good things. I was reading a post about that other pump Meizere i think its spelled but it was just a war about nothing.
well you figure your stock pump lasted 4 years.... that's pretty good. so if the Bosch is just like the OEM, nothing wrong with that IMO.
i dont know anything about the Meizere pumps, hopefully someone who knows about them can chime in.

So the ZZP S2 is the same as the current H/E that OTT sells, but OTT is coming out with a new one. Do you have any ifo on this new H/E that is coming out? Also can I have opinions on IC pumps? Thanks

Yah I know, I had my whole tranny replace about a year ago with all my mods lol. Completely blew out the 2nd gear synchros, the gear just wasnt there lol. They actually replaced the whole tranny with a new one with a LSD over just replacing the synchros, they said the turn around time would have been a lot slower than just replacing the whole thing. Also when I had my Clutchmasters FX400 I bent the **** outta my shifter cable because of the faulty clutch and got that replaced under warranty which is why my tranny ended up blowing up later on down the road. I mean it can't hurt to ask, they have never really turned me down. As far as bosch I heard that they burn up just as fast as the OEM pump but I've also heard good things.
