over filling oil can cause excessive blow by and damage cats. underfilling can cause starvation.

i was just wondering why i got 8 quarts of oil out of the car when i changed it. didnt happen the other 8 or 9 times i changed the oil lol. i didnt mean to start an argument.

i dont care what is reccomended on any car. Its like at the shop when u do an oil change you fill it until its full

Awww...c'mon guys-- live on the edge-- go to the drag strip, fill oil to full line . Make a pass- if you have oil pressure in the traps, lower oil level. Repeat until oil psi gauge drops to 0 in the traps.
Then, once you have your level, adjust oil pressure relief until you have 6 psi per 1000 rpm
