ZZP 3" catback, how loud is it?

I'm getting rid of the p.o.s. megan racing exhaust I have. After 2 years all the flanges are crumbling away and it sounds like complete ass... I hate it. To anyone who wants the Megan, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Wish I had spent the money back then for a better one.

Anyways, after hours of searching and research, I was flipping between the GMPP and Corsa (both Touring), and I was pretty much set on the Corsa. Then I read about the ZZP Exhaust, and I can't tell by any of the videos I watch how loud it is. Lots of people seem to love it, no rasp or drone, but again I can't tell the noise level of it.

I don't want it to be super loud, I'm tired of having a fart can drown out my supercharger.. I love the sound levels of both the GMPP/Corsa but the Corsa has 2.5" piping.

FYI I don't plan on doing anything else major to my car, I don't think it will ever see 300hp, so the zzp being 3" isn't a huge deal for me.

*Edit* oh does anyone know the cheapest place to get the Corsa? Best I've got is 779.00 at TurboTech.

I got my Corsa from RaceMart.com for right at about 700....I just checked and their listed price now is 713+shipping

HOWEVER!! This shop literally took a month to get me my exhaust....they said they didn't stock them and had to have it drop shipped from Corsa, but I don't think that would've taken it a month.

Having said that, it was well worth the wait. I love it and have had numerous compliments and comments to the effect of "Thats probably one of the best 4cyl's I've ever heard"

Hope that was helpful

It's definitely not as loud as the Megan and sounds a lot, lot better. Megan sounds like ass.

Yeah that flange is def on the large side, I had to drill holes in my zzp dp flange to get it to bolt up to my exhaust flange.

Thanks for the replies, even if some were a bit off topic :P .

I'm still on the fence, if I'm going to go zzp (which is cheaper) then I might as well get the dp or longtube header, but then im pretty damn sure with my 2.9 and a full exhaust my cars going to need a tune badly.

I think I'm just going to order the corsa and call it a day. All I want is to get rid of this POS megan, and have a nice sounding car that doesnt need to be tuned. lol for now, at least.
