Thumbs up ZZP Customer’s Twincharged Cobalt Runs 11s!

First off, big thanks to Mike Williams for his purchase and letting us race his car.
Well here is the story, customer contacts me interested in making his Cobalt quicker, and I proceed to talk him into our Twincharged kit. He drops his pretty much totally stock Cobalt and we come up with a list of mods like this:

ZZP twincharged kit (recirc dump, 256 extended tip turbo)
ZZP boost reference fuel system
60# injectors
ZZP 3” cat back exhaust
ZZP Stage 2 axles
ZZP Stage 4 clutch
24” drag tires for the strip

Everything was installed and it made 360whp at 20psi and 380whp at 22psi on our dyno. This is right in line with typical ZZP twincharge setups. Keep in mind that EVERY mod that this car has is listed above.

I asked the customer if he minded if we brought it to the track and he was happy about it.

Tim driving:
1st pass 20psi 2.43 60ft 13.1 @114
2nd pass 20psi 1.88 60ft 12.24 @ 115 (that’s more like it)
3rd pass 22psi 1.86 60ft 12.16 @ 120
4th pass 22psi 1.91 60ft 12.13 @ 120
5th pass 24psi 2.00 60ft 12.01 @ 123
6th pass 24psi 1.90 60ft 11.94 @ 122 (oh yeah)
After this, Matt hopped in and ran a 12.05 spinning pretty bad.

Very carefully. The track was decent at the start of the night, but went away quickly.

We've raced 4 Cobalts so far, with all of them hitting 11s. Of course they all have a turbo, making the job much easier.

The best thing about the 11 second pass Tim ran was being lined up with an Evo. Tim lost the sixty foot battle pretty bad, but ended up WAY out front through the traps.

First of all congrats on the times!!

The above parts list, how much would one expect to spend if they dropped the car off(bone stock) to have all parts installed and tuned? PM me if you do not want to quote a price publicly

Thank you ahead of time
