As in the laminova core O rings? So if the end plate gasket is bad how would coolant get to the air chambers and not physically leak on to the floor? I guess I will prolly answer my own questions when I pull it all off. Thanks For all your help staged. And your name is james? I'm Travis btw.

I think that most likely the culprit. Or he barely torqued down the dual pass. Or he poured coolant in the top of the dual pass not thinking its an air bypass that leads directly into the manifold. Ask me why I would suggest that last part, stupidest thing I ever did while working on my car. had to take off the manifold and empty all the coolant I just poured into it. I felt like such a *******

theirs a total of 8 orings 2 per core and the 1 end plate gasket
you should pull of the manifold jump out your ic pump relay with the hoses on the intake manifold and see if its leaking coolant to avoid removing the end plate( aka pain in the ass) lol
best of luck

Definitely check those orings. I had the same problem with the car stuttering, except mine was a slow leak and it would only do it after I leave the car overnight, giving the coolant a chance to pool up in the manifold. It drove me nuts until I figured it out.

Can anyone explane ymy throttle ist consistant at all when I pu in the gas, throttle is clean and shiny s iknow its not that. I might haveto take it to the dealership and say have fun find the promblem and then if it is the cmputer I'm s.o.l. case they can't touch that, at least that's what they said

Do you have a scan gauge? Tim says he can figure out a lot with the fuel perameters, i would say if your gonna spend the money to have someone figure it out then find a shop thats familiar with these cars if you can.

Are you continuing to lose intercooler fluid? If so that's a good place to start.

Fuel trim data would make things easier too. Those scan gauges are sweet. You won't be wasting money getting one of those.

Stock is like 2qts

I'm not positive of the hold capacity of the ZZP S3 heat exchanger.

My cooling setup is:

- OTTP Gen 4 Dual Pass Heat Exchanger
- GMR Dual Pass Endplate
- GMR Opt. B

I think I used slightly over half a gallon of coolant.

Well i would assume the volume of OTTP and ZZP is equivalant, that being said i added 3/4 of a gallon to it after the install and only spilled about 2 cups. And it still is not topped off. O rings are my best bet. And it does seem as if im getting water out of my tail pipe, at 1st i thought it was just condensation cause of new DP and mods but maybe its burnt coolant. I checked it and had no smell but it did seem oily kinda. Hmmm all the fingers are pointing.

Well fellas, i just pulled off the blower and there is definatly traces of coolant in the IM. So i pull off the IM and coolant poors out of it. So i take out the lamonova cores and crazy **** im missing one of the brass washers on one core. I am floored that i would have missed that before putting them back in, aside the fact i cant find it in my garage, clean floor and tidy area?. So im off the the parts store to see if i can match one up.What is the torque specs for the end plate? 89lbs?

And it turns out that washer/spacer in made of "unobtainium" GM dealer says it is a no serviceable part which means if you order a new IM you can get it that way...
Local Napa said no chance of such size. FOOOOOOOOOOOOck. i cant believe i lost that.
