The iridiums I have come gapped at .030. the bkr7e are copper so yea they'll be larger and you'll have to shrink the gap.
If you don't get hpt or find someone in co with it you're gonna have to send your pcm to zzp a lot. I suggest finding a shop, or if you really have to, trifecta.

He will send you a usb cable with a box attached that you plug into your laptop. you then take the other side and plug it in via OBD2. you download his software off the website and follow these steps..
He will supply you a starting tune (box tune like zzp) based of the information you give him. Hell you could even start with my tune at this point. 1 - start the program and click th e option to tune car. It will load the tune and then you restart the program and click data-log. start recording different things like a WOT in 3rd gear from 2000 - 7000 rpm, a log during idle for about 2 min, as idle log with some reving up and down in place, and a standard cruise around ranging through all different rpms.
email those files to him and he will update the tune. If you have an AFR gauge you can record that with a video camera as long as you get the rpms in the same video.(i didnt want to pay all the money for another program and system to get the AF into the laptop for the datalog)
he charges $250 for his time and tuning but will put a hold on another $200 for the cable system. Once you are all finished he will refund the $200 when you ship the cable back.
you can send me an email if you have any questions since i am still tuning my car as we speak.

When I ordered my #50 injectors ZZP I asked about returning my #42 for a credit. They said I needed to send them my PCM again so they could tune it for the #50 injectors but I said no this time. There stage 2 flash was actually perfect and my car has was running amazing with it which is rare for a box tune so KUDDOS to zoomer and the other zzp team members, but since i was working with Vince from Trifecta on really dialing it in, it would have been a waste to send them the PCM when I would have had to erase it 10min later with the trifecta tune again. He is the one who recommended the gauge and pointed out the high IAT2 readings and the 100% duty cycle on the injectors.
Trust me, last year at a few car shows when I had just an intake and exhaust there were a few cobalt guess raving about trifecta and I had no clue what they were talking about. I said it was a waste and that they prob did a horrible job.. I went ZZP for everything. Then I talked to Vince and now I trust him with everything. I wish I could get out to Washington so he could tune it in person...

Why would you say last resort? Did you know something I dont know. I would think sending you PCM out without dataloging on the car would be a last resort. Of course an onsite tune would be perfect but if thats not an option........

I deff agree with not sending the PCM thus not sending my PCM to ZZP again. The closet Dyno to me is specialized in Audi and VW so they dont have the program for anything else and I wouldnt be able to know what I am looking at myself so that left me with the only other option..datalog via email. Im only looking for a nice smooth tune that will give me a little extra but just runs right with all the mods. I might hit the track twice a year and do a few pulls on the highway but most important it dosnt blow up driving to work..lol.

Well i got my PLX gauge today and installed. My LTFB at idle for 2 min is -19, and at 70mph its at -20 and +31 timing. not sure if those numbers are in tolerence but thats what tim wanted.

I would tighten your plug gap down to .030 and try again if its cutting out at a certain boost level...i had the same problem on my car recently and it ended up being spark blowout. Gap was too large...

Thats awesome you say that cause my buddy owns a machine shop and he said the same thing, so i pulled them and gapped them to .030 and no change.

Well tim says that he can try to tweek the tune but without dyno tuning there is no way to get it correct for sure, ive got faith in tim and i would feel good having a name brand intake and if it doesnt fix this problem its on him for throwin parts at it.

I should get my new intake on wed. What is everyone else seeing with these #s if you have a PLX? Post em up here so i can compare..

I never said he was crazy, but ZZP has always been quick to blame some of their canned tuned problems on intakes. When, a lot of the times it has been due to 60 lb injectors, or just the fact it is a canned tune and will never be perfect for every car.
It is always good to check all possible senarios, and I'm glad you got everything worked out.
