ZZP Stage 2 installed today.
So today I installed my Stage kit from ZZPerformance, went 2.9 on the pulley, 50# injectors. Everything went smooth until it was time to put on my serpentine belt. Thinking it would be fast and easy, when I removed the supercharger, i didn't loosen the belt and just used he slack gained from removing the M62. so when I needed the tensioner to give slack i couldn't move it. I of course went on the forums to see how to do it, saw a youtube video on it, and no luck.
Solution: the tensioner spring gets stiff, and can freeze up over time of no use, I put it in a vice, compressed and decompressed about 30 times, got it back in working shape, (It still is really stiff though) the tensioner assembly's pulley is attached with one bolt, which i saw in the vid, was how to release the tension. My pulley's bolt was almost too easy to loosten and I assume it is supposed to have loc-tite.
Now, I have everything working fine, so I start her up. She drives fine, but at idle bounces from 500-1200 rpms. I took it for a little spin and after about 10 minutes of driving the idle problem went away, just held steady at 1000. Should I expect the problem to be back in the morning, or do these things sometimes go away?
Also, Shout out to ZZPerformance for great customer service, I would definitely buy from them again

Did you get a PCM from ZZP or did they email the tune? It sounds like your tune might need to be checked for the injector short pulse limit settings. Make sure you have no vacuum leaks and the sensors are all secure.

They mailed me the PCM, and I have checked for vac leaks, sensors are good too. I've heard that Injen intakes can sometimes cause idle issues with a zzp canned tune.

My K&N does until the MAF is corrected but I doubt they changed that on your tune. I got real crazy idle on my 60s until I changed my short pulse limit, although a guy here locally with an 06 runs the injen and he is on a GMSTGII tune and he idles fine.
