ZZP stage 3 or Ottp Stage 2

So i have an extra 500 buck and been wanting a stage kit. So the question is should i go with zzp stage 3 kit with S3 HE then a tune or ottp stage 2 kit then a tune? Kinda lean towards zzp cause that S3 HE looks awesome or if you guys think i should go another route let me know. Just seeing what you guys think any input is very much apprciated thanks

In the length of time it took you to make this thread, you could have found the answer searching. Pick one, it doesn't matter. ZZP S3 H/E is better than OTTP

Our stage 1 unit is actually slightly bigger than their stage 3 unit, they both use radiator cores and are both dual pass designs. I haven't seen anyone do a test to prove one is better than the other so at this point they are equal, ours just costs less.

We also sell the griffin heat exchanger, made by griffin for us exclusively. It replaces the stock heat exchanger and doesn't require the use of a front mount. It is with out question the best heat exchnager on the market.

Josh, does your "Stage 2" kit come with a genuine Stage 2 belt or the same one ZZP comes with when you choose that option?

For most people their belt already has miles on it and it's alot cheaper to buy just a belt than a tensioner bracket/pulley and a new belt because your stock one is worn out.

We do also sell a dual pass, I will need more info from you to give you an exact quote. If you would like to pm me your number I will give you a call to discuss.

dual pass end plate(or single pass manifold) + option b kit + griffin h/e = best cooling setup for the lsj at the moment

I'd go with OTTP if I did it again, the ZZP belt stinks and using an enlarged tensioner also stinks. Along with my tune, but that's to be expected haha.

dual pass will give you better cooling

opt b will actively and efficiently bleed all the air out of the system...which in turn provides better cooling

so if ur picking one, start out with the dual pass

This. Get these two before Meth.
.Meth is throttle or boost referenced. The other two.are continuous and don't need refilling

I went with OTTP stage 2 (same as ZZP stage 3) and the stage 1 h/e (bigger than ZZP's S3). Just bought it last week so I should have it by the end of this week. I got a PM from OTTP a few hours later with a sweet deal on dual pass, option b and brackets that I will be taking advantage of....just gotta decide on that or exhaust first.

I would go with a custom tune, dyno tune if you can swing it and thats what I am doing once all the parts are on, have the $ for it sitting in savings so i dont blow it on something else.

I did a search on google for Dyno's in MD and got 4. So either google or you could even ask around at parts stores, it's Vegas, there has to be something.

ZZP's HE is an American made piece, OTT's is Chinese. We've posted about the issues of the Chinese HE's and done comparisons. ZZPs part is much better and cools better. our stage kits ship the same day you pay. A forum is supposed to be a place where information is shared, customer experiences are compared and customers make informed decisions. When one company has all the negative posts in their vendor section deleted and people do not get a chance to see honest cutomer feedback, the system is broken and the consumer suffers.

And 2 of your heat exchangers are chinese as is you lnf intercooler. Your 2 chinese heat exchangers use the wrong core, we used to use the same core but we learned and got our customers the correct core. There is no cooling data directly comparing our stage 1 to your stage 3 so at this moment they are equal, all I can definitively say is that our stage 2 heat exchanger (griffin) is the best HE on the market. So if customers want the best HE they have to go to OTT.

Quick Reply: ZZP stage 3 or Ottp Stage 2
