ZZPerformance Engine Mount
So my engine mount came in yesterday and got installed today. Install took maybe 20 minutes. Supported the passenger side of the engine with a engine hoist, unbolted the engine from the mount then the mount from the frame. Then put it all back together.
Impressions so far from a short, spirited, drive are that the shifting is much firmer and the car accelerates more smoothly. As for the pressing question of wheel hop....well it still happens. Its def not worse than before. The vibrations are minimal as well.
Overall i am very happy with the mount simply for the better shifts and smoother acceleration.
I have the torque brace from weapon-r on its way and we will see how it adds vibration and works with the motor mount.

I didn't do pics cause as MaxBoost's show it looks identical to stock. Mine has the GM part number still stamped on it. I think ZZP simply takes stock mounts and replaces the internal part with solid urethane. You can depress the stock mount with your fingers but not the ZZP mount.

Here is my review if you want to post it.
"Great product, would recommend to all Red Line/SS owners.
The install was very simple. Only took about 10 mins. I used a floor jack with a 2x4 to support the engine during install. There are 3 bolts and 2 nuts that you have to remove. It's that's it.
I just got back from a ride. I dropped the clutch to do a burn out and I got a very small amount of wheel hop at the begining for less than a second and then it settled right down and just smoked the tires. Eventhough there was a little wheel hop it is no where near what I had before. Before if I did the same thing the whole car felt like it was going to fall apart.
I did notice a little more cabin noise but that was only when I was cruisin in 2nd gear at about 4000 rpms.
Also my shifts felt more firm, I guess becuase of the reduced engine movement."
