$3500 on Ecotec 2.2

If u guys get $3500 to spend preformance on your 2002 Cavalier/Cobalt, How much horsepower do you believe you'll end up by then on a stock engine....... I'm asking mainly for my friend who has the Cavalier LS, and he need to make a decision by june on how to spend it on the car.

trade it in, put that 3500 toward an SS/SC.

best bet since he wants a stock engine, turbo pushing 5psi, tuned w/ fmu etc. will run you 3500 for about 50-60hp gain, not worth it IMO.

if I were him, I'd spend it on the Hahn turbo kit, no questions asked

he'd be putting down at the very least, 200-220whp on 7-8psi and have no problems out running alot of quick cars out there.
