If you mean, "is there a tuning solution available for an 05 2.2?", then the answer is no. There will hopefully be one soon though called SCTFlash.

Depending your car, you could have as many as 3 computers. There is the body control module, the Engine control module, and a trans control module if you have an automatic. And they all talk to each other on two separate networks, a high and low speed one. Why do you ask?

Why yes....didn't you find the keyboard and monitor in the trunk?

Nearly everything on your Cobalt is tied into the ECM. You also have a tranny control module (TCM) and body control module (BCM) - no kidding. Even changing out your radio can be detrimental to the health of your Cobalt! Search the posts to learn more.

For tuning, you will have to wait a while.

The 2005 LS uses the E16a ECM, which none of the aftermarket flash tuners currently support. SCTFlash is under contract from Garrett, so they should be releasing a product by the end of March. There are piggybacks that have worked, like the SMT-6.

Your instrument panel cluster and radio are also considered as Modules or "computers". If you have XM, ABS, and Traction Control they also have their own modules.

i dont plan to even get an ss till april at soonest, and im in canada, so i dont know if well be able to do anything about it, i want to do it because i want the car to look lower end stock
mainly because i race on streets, and making others jealous mainly because the guys heere who put money into their civics think theyr the ****, so i want to burn them thinking they got bruned by a chev and hopefully change their mind next time they buy a car
hahah that would be hilarious, but yeah, i plan to get the ls/lt body kit onto an ss, im going to debage it, well of the ss symbols, the supercharge symb, and im getting no spoiler, im going to put ls next to the cobalt so other cobalt drivers think im driving just a regular ls, ill challenge them (they being in their ss" and keep up or beat them with mods.

If you want a sleeper than the cheaper alternative is to swap over the engine or even prcharge your car. Otherwise your dumping in A LOT of money.

And for street racing

yeah, but if i swap engines, then i have to deal with gear ratios, many weaker components, id have to get new suspension, because really, the ls is my parents, and id have to buy it off them befor i can mod it ... but it would be after they payed it off, so i only pay like 5000.
and plus, having an actual ss would just make it that much easier, new warrenty, well, heck a whole new car!
