2.2 Clutch Issue

Im getting my Garrett Alpha Kit installed this week as I have said before, but I am concerned about my clutch. I dont know if it will handle well with the newly installed turbo, but does anyone have any suggestions of any good makers for an upgraded clutch? thanks

It will nto handle the power, trust me been there done that Any clutch really. Spec stage 2 is what i have and it works wonders. DEF get a lighten flywheel at the same time. When you order the clutch tho MAKE sure it comes with teh cobalt TOB and not a cavy one. Search my clutch woes...you will see why haha.

Your having problems with the clutch because you didnt get the cobalt TOB....hhhmmm interesting.

I just took a look at this option:

http://www.exedyusa.com/race/04950

concidering it, but now I have to hold back on the installation.

Being Exedy does not make a hyper single for the 2.2/2.4L I would recommend the SPEC stage 3+. It will hold all the power you throw at it

A hyper single would be required for my car's new turbo installment?

What the hyper singles? so if they don't produce one for my 2.2 ls. Is it safe enough to go with a Stage 2 exedy?

I see, it concerns me though with the spec because it doesn't give clear indication that is it compadable with my car.

I know clutches all have a common base design, but I would rather be safe that sorry.
