THE 2.2 Full Exhaust

For anyone else with a 2.2 considering their exhaust options, I just finished installing all of mine today and it sounds like sex...no rasp, very nice and mellow tone at idle, when you romp on it, it sounds great.

ZZP 1.5" primaries header
2.5" DP w/ highflow cat
GMPP Touring exhaust.

All total to CANADA it cost me roughly $1000 for the works after shipping fee's.

Cool, I had great results with a ss/sc header/stock cat/Tsudo catback

I plan on getting a 2.75" cat off of a minivan and getting a custom downpipe. with it welded in.

I plan to do a soundclip as soon as I get something worthwhile to record it with..will be soon!

I was moderately pleased with the SS exhaust, but the gmpp is so much nicer imo.

I have the tsudo catback, and I just put my zzp header/dp combo on it and it sounds amazing, just thought you should know that lol. Burn the minivan after you take the cat off...

That's good I'm glad you like the sound
I had the xtc 2.5" Dp with Highflow + GMPP Touring and I hated the sound.
It sounded good at idle but when I hit the gas it sounded like a combination of a weed wacker and a dirtbike

Were you running a header then? or the stock manifold?

My sound is a constant mellow tone that gets louder, but keeps the same tone as you get on it...none of the bee's in a can **** heh

There is definitely a performance gain from stock. Exact numbers I dont know.

But, as proof; my gf drives a bone stock 06 g5. When I had just my intake, I couldn't gain any ground on her when we did a few runs on a highway. The day after I finished installing all of the exhaust parts, we did it again and she couldn't keep up...I kept pulling further away from her...so the gains are there for sure.

I guess the midlength header/dp is making the difference then.
