Yeah off the spray. There was no point because:

1. It wasn't hooked up as I was just driving home from getting some food.
2. It was impromtue , he just took off and I sped up and caught and eventually passed him.
3. It clearly said V6 on the back so I knew it might end up being a good race.

He was a cool guy too, he asked if I had anything done to my car and I told him it was stock with a K&N filter.

actually he did advance the timing which in turn increases hp.....however this is only possible due to the fact that most cars of this nature come from factory slighty retarded in their timing....so try again but i am correct...and actually it is realisticaly like 5-6 hp sry but i exaggerated slightly....stock balt now at 150bhp and 126whp...and im 24 years old...i dont have time to bs i actually use this forum for accurate info...why would i post anything inaccurate? Although i cant deny the fact that he may have bs'd me on the tune but it pulls tires loose and it didnt b4 so idk what the hell but gov is non issue so i am happy

never said he used the Tech 2 for that part man....just said he did it....used 2 diferent comps for it....instead of 20 min to change size it took an hour to change it all but again he may have bs'd me and im not that knowlegeable on the comp tuning end of mods just mechanical so sry if i am wrong

well ok that makes a difference.

he could have tried to use the pass-thru to flash it with a different level image assuming it will be a more aggressive tune, but I don't think it's real possible from what I'm reading on this site and a few others.

believe it or not though, just resetting the ecu will give you your spark timing back for a while and then gradually pull it again, mine does it also, so if it does seem quicker that may be it.

nothing against you or your friend, but if it was that simple I'd be a lot less stressed with this car or cobalts and a lot of others would too LOL

wow thats alot of arguing over nos....neway i currently have 125whp stock and after basic mods projected figs are around 145whp after catback, CAI, and stand alone ecu mod.....then i add the bottle!!!! should be around 200whp!....cant fricken wait

You guys are getting way too defensive over everything.

Of course... it's hard to defend yourself when you just go back and delete/edit posts to fit the argument later on.

And on my 06 2.4L SS auto... the gears are labeled L I D R P - So I can see where the confusion started between I and 1. No big deal... certainly no reason to fight over it like little kids.

Argh... my head hurts too after reading this thread.

I go to dyno on the 29th of August. 90% of my build should be done. only thing left will be the turbo set up but ill be doing that in the winter. Ill show you mine when i get the slips.
