I have an 07 WITH SAI
Yes this will work with SAI, you guys don't need to do anything but what another forum topic said - chop the plastic tube, add an air filter from the ricer aisle at checkers, and your good to go. SAI injects at the 4-1 join point for the exhaust, all you need to do is put the tube up high where it won't get water nything sucked in or do the air filter thing.....Besides SAI runs between 40 and 140 degrees coolant, so if your like me, your car warms up in the morning before you drive and it sits at 187 usually

Awww dood, come on.....a little piece of rubber hose, 2 washers, and 1 long bolt and 1 nut, you can make a better fender-holder-onner, for less than $2 at Ace Hardware. I say $62 for something that just requires a little elbow grease is better than $180+ for the same thing.....but then again, I like working on my car........
honestly, i'd rather have the SRI anyway, and i got it for such a good price, it was a deal.

Ok, I have a bone stock 2.2L 2007 Cobalt with SAI. The way you look to see if you have SAI is if you have a smaller tube coming off of the airbox right next to the big tube(in the upper right hand corner), and not the one thats next to the throttlebody (the breather tube), its on the corner of the air box on the left side of the car (but on the right side of the

yep there is an air pump mounted straight down if you follow the tube.
and then it goes to your header from there.
Here is an SAI Pic the little tube on the right is how you know if you have it
What I did when I had my short ram on here was I just hung the tube on the bolt as show below....I never got a code for that...its up high and it won't suck in water or any threatening debris

just got mine installed today, and yes the maf doesn't quite fit perfectly. a little filing on the sides is all it takes. cut mine where it turns down and made it a short ram intake, i can always couple it back together for the cai. its really the best deal as long as you don't mind cleaning it up a bit.
