If I had a separate daily driver, hell yeah, id do the STS. I worked with a guy with a, auto 3.8 Firebird with the STS and he used to run high 12s on that plus a 75 shot on street tires.

nice try it'll cost closer to 4K after custom bending and fabrication...
if it was 3K for the full kit... that would be different....but for the risk or you equipment
but I forgot "im more into the power then the safety, if i blow my engine up doing a 10 second pass on the track, then thats all the worth while i need is to say i have a 10 second 2.2 eco, that is my only consern
not saying that 10 seconds is my goal, just using that as an example about how much consern i have for safety vs power"
so you must live your life 1/4 at a time don't mr. diesel ;D :
sts doesn't look bad in theory but if you don't have all flat roads like a track it's too risky in my opinion.
on topic... has he posted up his dyno's anywhere? supporting his 285hp claim? i can't find anything ... then again i'm not looking that hard

haha yea.. 285WHP on a stock (?) motor seems a bit out there. especially when lsj's are popping and they're pushing out the same numbers and they are tuned...if he has a 50 shot then i can understand ..
i didn't remember if it was 285whp or 285 crank hp crank HP might make sense though

Universal Turbo Systems require fabrication and do NOT include intake or exhaust tubing, fuel management or tuning

i think you mean reliablilty vs power. if you race, even in a 17 second car, you should definitely be worried about safety. if the motor was blown, that can be dealet with, if you ae running an unsafe setup and fuel line blow and catches the whole car on fire, thats somehting else.
