2.2 Tranny Rebuild

pretty soon i'm am gonna be looking to do a tranny rebuild to with stand the power i will be making soon.

has anyone done this? who did they go through? links?

is it a auto or manual?

if you dont beat the **** outa the manual it should hold quite alot

400hp cavi's with F23 only have a clutch
300hp auto's only need a trans fluid cooler and tune. I'll need an expected torque number though before i can give you reccomendations on tranny upgrades. Trannys are rated in ft-;bs they can take, not in hp

well ill let you know if it holds 400whp in a little less than 4 wkeeks. it should hold if you dont pound the hell outa the gears.

celicacobalt blew his after a few months (half a year maybe?) running 370wtq, but only like 240whp. its the torque that kills it. f you have a 300tq 400whp build, then you'd be fine, but if you switch those two numbers, you would need some upgrades. So is that going to be 420whp or 420wtq?
