2.2 trifecta tunes ....wideband?

are there any NA 2.2s tuned by vince. i'm running on a tune i got before he started logging and i get these slightly erratic idles and once in a blue moon she'll idle low enough that the car dies. i'm wondering if this is related to the lack of having the idle air tables and if it is did he get that fixed? either way i'm getting a wideband this week so i can properly log the a/f tables during the re-tuning process.

I am really close
i personally dont have a wideband, but if vinces is working we could use my car, i dont want to pay for time with him, but my car is up for use for local testing

9/10 occasional idle issues (resulting in engine dying) are due to a dirty throttle body. happened to me....

Im N/A tuned by him right now...hitting 12.3-12.5 at WOT according to my AEM lol

measures the exact air fuel ratio in a number vs a narrow band that measures if you are rich, correct (stouch (sp?)) or lean

i have a wideband, turns out vince doesnt really use it, he goes of the stock sensor, the wideband is there for me to make sure i dont go lean during the tuning process, although my tuning could use some work, when i floor it, i get a/f from 12.3-12.5, than in the high end it will be 11.9-12.2...hopefully the 3" pulley tune will be better

ive never died during idle thought, but if i floor it while idling and than let off the gas fast, the rpms will drop to ~500rpm than almost die...but it comes back up and idles fine again

thats kinda lean dude for a boosted Eco...I would see if he could richen that up just a tad.

yeah i know, i mentioned it a few times to utsadude, and they blamed my wideband was reading wrong, which i thought may be tue bc during WOT runs it woudl stop reading, well after calling innovate and doing a recalibration, the issue wasnt the wideband not working, it was the EGT's getting to high, the sensor told the LC1 the temp was to high so they shut off, which is what they are designed to do at a certain temp...so next time around, we're guna have to keep tuning until its 11.5-12.0 WOT all the time in all RPMs

that is the reason i want the wideband before i re-tune. i trust vince but these tunes are only as good as they can be without knowing exactly where you stand. and money should never be the issue with modding either do it and try to do it right or save the money and buy a sports car you never plan on touching.

i've been studying up and these a/f tables if not correct are stealing power and robbing performance.

yeah I'm noticing even my N/A tune could use some polishing. it gets retarded rich in the upper rpms (12.0 - 12.3)

is he logging wideband now during tuning?

theres no way to wire in the wideband signal...

my only complaint with my tune is inconsistency in AFRs. I usually run in the low 11's, but sometimes its the high 10's or the low 12's. Im assuming factors like humidity will change this, making it inconsistent, but its still annoying.
