when i talked to dan i told him i was turboing it, from what it seems it will do anything.. i reads ur ecu and learns what u have then does a reflash which takes 10 mins for everything, then bam done, unplug test, then gt tuner back to the owners.

So its a canned tune? I dont see how they are going to do it so easily if it took SCT so long to and HPT doesnt even want to give us the light of day. Sorry im not trying to be a dick, im just very skeptical about ECM tuning for our cars. I will believe it when i see it. And if you want a built engine turbo car to beta test with let me know. Im sure i could be a huge help..

swy when i talked to vince, he said it wasnt to hard to crack it and he didnt understand why hptuners didnt come out with one. Maybe hptuners just didnt care..

I doubt it takes a company longer than a week to crack and finish it.. most companies want to make tuning for the most popular car they know that people would buy quick.. who knows..

But lets hope this is what we need and everything else

so your saying it auto tunes.... so its can see you have larger injectors? I honestly don't see that happening. im not tryin to bash it but I would like some solid evidence or info from the writers/programers

honestly sw4y i dont no much about it, it isnt done yet so i dont no everything it does.. but when i do i will update as i find out.. from what it can do to other cars, it does look as a auto tune.

we will just have to see

I no your not bashing, your just questioning the tune as i am doing because i want to know and see what its capable of.. i hope it can remove the governor and other stuff..

UPDATE from DAN on another thread:

Clarification

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I spoke to Vince about a few things and info being presented on this forum.

Vince and I want to make sure everyone understands the following:

Clear Image Automotive and Trifecta Performance are business associates and have a working, cooperative, relationship in the development of high performance, products & services for the after market.

1. The "GT Tuner" is simply a piece of hardware to carry the programming. It does not learn or have the ability to learn and write. The program will be written by Trifecta and up-loaded to the GT Tuner. Once the customer receives the GT Tuner, he will ONLY be able to up-load the program to his stock computer.

2. Retail orders will be handled by Clear Image Automotive exclusively. Once the program is available, if you would like to place an order, you will be ordering from us (Clear Image Auto) NOT Vince (Trifecta).

3. Custom tuning IS available at our (Clear Image Auto) location. If a customer wishes to drive to our (Clear Image Auto) shop, Vince will happily meet you here to take care of your tuning needs. If a customer wishes to meet Vince (Trifecta) direct, those arrangements will need to be worked-out directly with Vince (Trifecta) for custom tuning and location.

4. We are in the process of establishing a relationship with another company who offers "Mobile Dyno Testing". They basically trailer a dyno to our shop and can provide dyno service at our facility. This would go hand in hand with custom tuning.

I think I have covered all mis-conceptions. If there are any other questions or gray areas requiring clarification, please let me know. Prices will be set after programming is developed, tested, re-tested and available.

Thanks again for all of your interest.
