295, it is about 5 miles of straight highway with no way on or off unless you can somehow cross the guardrails. Everyone here races there, saturdays it is always the place to be if you wanna see a race. We always use about 4 cars to block off right at the next to last exit so there is no traffic.

I hate to go against the grain here, and I don't want to get offtopic, but going over the speedlimit on a highway with other people is VERY un-safe, no matter how well you THINK your car handles. You need to remember public highways aren't yours, its not just you driving. Another driver might fall asleep at the wheel and veer into you at the last moment. The difference between 75 and 85 at that speed could be the difference between avoiding an accident and being the reason for a highway closure and a spot on the 6-o-clock news.
I would honestly hope you are talking about going 100 on the track where you're wearing a helmet and are the focus of medical and fire experts everytime you "safely" go that fast.

I really dont care about bashing and what not, but all i have is an aem cai intake and ss sc header back, and my car hits the 115 mph limiter easily. I drove to florida on christmas day, and i was riding the limiter half way there. my average speed for the whole trip was 87. So everyone who bashes 2.2 going 100 kiss my ass. this car is awesome at 100+

i wouldnt mind pushing my limiter to 7k but someone said about the stock 2.2 intake manifold taking a hit.. i want the governor removed for future track reasons down the road when i rebuild the motor and start really pressing the car hard.. I dont do 100 on the highway, most is around 70-80 but then again where i live thats keeping up with traffic.

yeah I agree, I don't really push my balt that fast even on the super japanese forged rims and awesome-grip tires, but the final run between 80 and my tire rated R-106MPH takes a good long stretch, so chances are I wont see that on the track as it is.
I would dig a custom tuning program....I love the idea of just getting tuned, but I'd rather have my own control over screwing up my car rather than trust someone 2,000 mi away (no offense). As for stock redline pushing up, if I remember right when you go stage ??? your rev limit is kicked up to 7500 with the valvetrain upgrade....but I wouldn't suggest doing that without upgrading them. Kind of like running anything over 8psi boost on stock internals....your just a ticking clock waiting for a problem to arise......

Changing the camshaft for a Comp. Cam and raising the rev limiter to 7000 because with my 2.4 intake Manifold Kit it shifts the powerband is up high in the 5k to 7k range.
Also would be good if I could swap for the SS/SC injectors at the same time as the camshaft

i want the comp cams turbo cams once the turbo is in, or staged ones depending on whats best for the turbo.. If i decide not to get hahns portfueler, i will get the 2.4 manifold.

awesome, thanks for telling me that
your getting a new turbo already you decide on which one...
I thought about getting GM's racing head and building it up and when its finished, throwing it on the car.. i seen it for around 1300 and so on.. aint bad for what it has, plus i could keep building to it and wouldnt have to keep taking it on and off through the years adding pieces and pieces, because its going to take awhile before i could finish it.
my gauge is a little bit off which is what worries me.. ever since i put on the 18s from the 15s, it is a tad bit off.. not much, but needle wigth..
