Look if you're not going to ask question about the product please SHUT THE F**K UP!!!! If you want to debate this go start your own thread and argue. What you guys are doing is discouraging people from buying. If these people want to buy let them. THOUGH word of advice to these people that are buying if you don't get the whole logic behind turbos and the effect it has on your engine PLEASE RESEARCH. You can probably turbo any car you just need to get all the right things and if needed build your engine so that it can handle all the stress. By doing this properly your car will run a long time with no problems from the turbo.
Like I said before if you are not going to talk about the product or ask question please shut the f**k up. I'm sure Frank doesn't want your bickering here so stop. Don't say your sorry or anything just stop talking. Go start your own thread about turboing a 2.2, 2.4, etc, etc.

it can go both ways, like halfcent's car, will kill a ss s/c when he is done, but this turbo kit, idk will probally run with it. its just what mods u do to your car simple as that. idk really know about the stage 1 beating a SS, maybe a Stage 3 would beat a stock ss, but then they mod there cars pullys, exaust, and intake. suddenly we would have to play catchup again.

I wish some people wouldn't deter others in threads like this. It's so useless and immature. I have a 2.2L, and the engine has a ton of potential. Moreso than the 2.0L at this point in time since there is more factory backing from GM for the 2.2L. I think this kit would be great for those wanting a simple boost application. I am looking to go forced induction down the road, but I have alot on my plate for the next while, so thats not going to happen until later. Again, for those looking to turbo their 2.2L ectoec, this is a great starter kit.

well someone correct me if im wrong. but doesnt 12psi supercharged engine make less hp then a 12psi turbocharged engine because the super is robbing power off the crank to make its 12 and the turbo is using the exhaust. so with the tranny difference and tuning you would probably need 12psi from a turbo to run with a ss. It will probably need to be tuned very good too.

lets put it this way, if you took 2 identical motors, turbo'd one and superchared the other both running the exact same about of boost, the turbo car will be faster. All be it not by much but in the end it will put more horse to the ground than the supercharged car. This is esspecially true for 4 cylinder motors. remember boys it's not about how much boost your engine is making, it's about how much CFM your are cramming through that TB .

dude, honestly.... who cares?? are you that insecure about yourself that you have to pray that the 2.2 can't keep up with you?? are you that pathetic?? sorry, but i mean come on... we ALL own cobalts... who cares who's is faster? does that make you better? not at all... are you going to cry if a 2.2 can keep up with you? does that make your car any worse? you don't sound like you know what you're talking about... grow up dude...
sorry, back to the topic... if anyone puts this on their car, i'd love to hear how it works out.. my question is this... is the Turbocharger REALLY a garret? or is it a garrett wannabe? i've heard some stories on here that it's not really a garret, but is passed off as one

NO offense to Frank on a personal level, because he is a cool guy and all, but I wouldn't buy one of his products if he was the only vendor. Past experiences mean a lot to me and his are lacking. Claiming his IC kit for vehicle specific when even a 2 year old could see it wasn't. Just pathetic. And that was just one of many examples.

Why not save a little more and buy a kit from Hahn? You know it will have every part and you know it has had R&D done on it. Heck you'll even have dyno and track results before it's sold in most cases.
