whats the point of running a 2.8 & meth on the dyno if thats not what you run everyday? bragging rights?

also, what cams are you running yellowshowbalt? and aren't you using the SMT-6, which means you're tuning with an extra injector?

you can use the SMT-6 without using a 5th injector. that was just the setup that one company used.

what? I thought the SMT-6 could only control additional fuel injectors and couldn't do anything with the stock/bigger injectors...

I dunno.. I am highly scepticle about 270whp.

Like I don't wanna call BS cause I have no reason not to believe him since I've seen some vids but damn... I'm still having a hard time ..

I really WANT to believe we can get that outta our cars...

im pretty sure what i said is accurate. if it isnt, then its the SMT-7 that can tune stock injectors, but im pretty sure they both can

ok im sorry everyone i cant find my papers i had them... my wife just decited to clean out my top drawer of my night stand ..... she said it was cludered and threw away a lot of junk as she put it....

so if ya want to say bs then it ok becouse i cant prove it now....

im useing the smt-7 and with are cars it will change timing and what the map sees and what the o2 reads and sends back to the computer so basicly with the bigger injectors you tell the computer its running rich so it pulls the fuel on the injectors

gm blew motors on nitrous, im useing f/i the power is still there but its less brutal on the engine and can take it with no probs like i said before i dont realy care if the engine go's but i want to see what it will take with good tuning and what power levels can be reached with street reliability......

so far i was making 270. without cams and should be making 280-290-ish now the car runs great with the new cams from TTR i got the blower grind.. when i hit the gas the car will pin you back in the seat like a fat chick laying on you .......lol theres still more power to be made in this engine... i havent changed my rev limiter let or my valve springs and caps yet.. thats next on the list.. it will turn or burn

oh you're using the SMT-7, no wonder...I kinda thought u were but wasn't sure cuz I know the SMT-6 can't do all that crap.

hows the idle with the blower grind cams? any weird idle or driveability issues?

how do you intend to bump the limiter? i talked to Perfect Power not that long ago and they said their FT40 was the only piggyback that could extend the rev limiter.

the idle stays around 1000 and drops to 800 about every 15 sec. then it comes right back to 1000 thats the only bad querk about those cams as far as crusing down the road no real difference but when you hit the gas its tork steer like a bitch my tires just spin spin spin all the way through 3rd i can be rolling in 3rd at about 2500-3000 rps at about 35ish and just pin the gas and look out becouse the tires start sliping and the car starts to tork steer.. the smt-7 was a good choice for me when i bought it theres so much that it can do over the smt-6 im not sure about the rev limiter still trying to figure every thing out.... but the car is one hell of a rocket

nice on the cams, thats not too bad I'm sure the idle could be sorted out with a little tuning...

might have to go ahead and pick up some stage 1 cams if thats the case...
