a supercharger set up is cheap horsepower and will cost less than $1200 if you can bargain shop

how n/a do you want to go? if you want to go full n/a...get ready to pay some money for your horsepower. very few people have successfully done a full n/a build because its so expensive, time consuming and your bound to break something in the process and end up paying almost twice than what you saved for.

if you want just a simple n/a build...you wont get much horsepower out of it. its definatly easier to do a supercharger (or turbo if you want) and cheaper.

just remember either way you MUST get tuned ($300 per tune plus dyno time)

sorry to thread jack, but what are some tags or keywords to use for finding more info about the 2.0t saab parts needed? I know the turbo, manifold, oil/water lines, possibly the intake mani...but where can I find someone who's done this and get more info...this sounds interesting as I was looking up the price of the turbo and what not online and I can get them for $200 or so...maybe a little less...I could probably go that route for $1000 plus a tune and some other parts.

There's a list of all the components you'll need to have along with the blower. I don't know where the thread is off hand, but do some searching otherwise I'm sure someone will have more input.

What do you mean won't run into problems later? You can run the s/c with all needed components and a tune and you're set...mechanical problems can happen if that's what you're asking.
