2.4 TB question

i was wondering if anyone would be able to confirm that the GMPD p/n 12580195 is a 6 pin TB or does it have the 8 pin connection.

i need to know before i place the order and they didn't seem to understand my question in the email.

any help is greatly appreciated. thanks guys.

Unfortunately I am only 90% sure but I believe it is an 8 pin, I know it is direct bolt on for 05-07 if that helps any.

hmm, do you also know if we need a new gasket for this thing? or is the gasket that was included in the 2.4 manifold kit going to suffice.

i dont even remember if there was a gasket that went straight on the throttle body, only one i remember is the one on the intake port of the manifold where the TB sits.

maybe someone can help.

I just installed the 2.4 TB and manifold about a week ago. The TB to mani gasket sits in the grooves in the manifold. So I don't know if thats the one you have or not..

I do not know the part # I bought mine used..

I have the part # for the gasket if you need it?

By the way, I installed mine at the same time along with a tune, and i did not feel a loss in torque at all! In fact the car feels better throughout the entire RPM range!

yeah when i installed the manifold they gave a gasket with it that we changed out. i wasn't sure if there was another gasket that went on the actual throttle body itself. as long as the only gasket needed on the top side of the manifold and throttle body assembly was the one that was required for the manifold install itself then i'm good to go.

thanks OBZ
