2.4intake mani

No, you don't have to tune for that. You do have to tune for a bigger Throttle body though, and if you want the most out of the 2.4 manifold, you should probably get a tune but it isn't needed.

Trifecta has tuning for the 05/06 2.2 but the 07 Beta test is being done tomorrow sometime, then it will be available. Tuning is needed for the 2.4 TB but not the Manifold itself, now if you want max performance out of the manifold, it's recommended that you get a tune. (which i will be in about a week or so). Other than that...it is a good mod and it make a huge difference.

Yes, but the stock one won't fit with the 2.4 manifold on. The brake booster hose for the 2.4 manifold is longer because it connects to the front of the manifold. The 2.2 manifold has a connector on the side.

yeah, page two of this thread, i posted the dyno sheet and a brief description of what was done to the car
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-2l-l61-performance-tech-45/07-tuners-116695/
So, for the 07 guys that want a 2.4 Manifold, but don't want to buy it from CED because it's like 273 dollars, here is how to do it and save a bunch of money....
Prices are MSRP
2.4 Intake Manifold - Part # 12587878 Price $173.51
PCV Seal 2.4 - Part # 12589516 Price $14.02
FOR THE 05/06 GUYS THAT NEED THE ADAPTER PLATE, IT IS 34.49 FROM CED AND CAN BE ORDERED SEPARATELY AND WILL STILL SAVE YOU LIKE 60 DOLLARS OVER THE ENTIRE KIT!!!!
If needed because you broke yours, otherwise you can reuse these seals below
Intake Seals - Part # 24455112 Price $3.89
Throttle Body Seal - Part # 12600729 Price $15.48
Misc. Bolt Manifold - Part # 11519038 Price $4.04
These are parts that you need for the brake booster line:
1/2" Inside Diameter Heater Hose (usually like $1-3 per foot) Qty. 1, 12" long
1/2" Double Male Barb (goes inside the hoses to connect them together) Qty. 1
3/4-1" Hose Clamps to clamp on the spliced part of the brake booster hose, Qty. 4
(But if you want a factory Brake Booster line Part # 15855993 Price $63.55)
This is what you do...gather all parts up...if you goto gmpartsdirect.com and just enter the part numbers, the prices are cheaper. You need:
Manifold (GMPartsDirect)
PCV Seal (GMPartsDirect)
Intake Seals (4) (On old manifold)
TB Seal (1) (On old manifold)
12" 1/2"D Heater Hose (Auto Parts Store, i.e. Advance)
1/2" Double Male Barb (Auto Parts Store, i.e. Advance)
Small Hose Clamps (4) (Auto Parts Store, i.e. Advance)
Tools and a knife/scissors
1. Disconnect Battery
2. Remove Airbox and Engine Cover
3. Remove Throttle Body
4. Remove all Misc. Hoses (Brake Booster Line, Valve Cover Vent Hose)
5. Remove MAP Sensor (located on the top)
Once everything is removed from the 2.2 Manifold, then start undoing the bolts using a ratchet or w/e. Pull the old manifold out of the engine bay making sure you don't drop any of the rubber gaskets/seals.
Unplug the MAP Sensor and make sure it will fit in the 2.4 Manifold, if it doesn't seal or pop into place, then get a drill or something and slowly enlarge the hole until the sensor fits tight in there but not so tight that you can't get it out. Then replug the MAP Sensor back in. Take a knee and transfer all gaskets/seals to the new manifold. (Intake Seals, Throttle Body Seal) Install the PCV Seal.
Goto the engine bay, if you didn't order the brake booster hose, then do this. Cut off the end of the brake booster hose at the part that it connects to the old manifold. Get your barb and hose clamps. Slide one hose clamp onto the booster line, then install the barb. Then get your heater hose and connect to the brake booster hose. Slide the hose clamp onto that line and give both of them a snug. If you want, wrap the center where the hoses meet with black tape.
Fit the new manifold into the engine bay using the studs in the head as guides. Start the bolts and use a pattern to snug them down. DO NOT OVER TORQUE OR YOU WILL SNAP THE BOLTS OFF IN THE HEAD!! Do not tighten one side first, snug evenly all around to avoid warpage. After all bolts are snug, get another hose clamp and slide it onto the brake booster hose extension. Connect to the manifold and snug down the hose clamp. Brake Booster Hose is now installed.
Slide the MAP Sensor down onto the manifold using the guide rail on the manifold and pop into place. Note there is no bolt hole on the new manifold like there is on the old manifold. Install the Throttle Body. All holes and bolts should line up on the 2007 Model years, i don't know about the 05/06 Models and the seal fits perfectly. Note: Make sure the plastic piece that came with the manifold is installed before installing the throttle body. (It goes into the intake port, it's a curved plastic piece)
After everything is connected to the new manifold, then installed the airbox or CAI/SRI. Whichever you have on there. Reconnect the battery and start the car. While it's running, listen to the engine and make sure there is no hissing hinting that there is a vacuum leak. If installed correctly, the car should idle normally and sound normal.
Close the hood and take it for a drive and enjoy!
So if you order through gmpartsdirect.com , This is the estimated price:
$150-160...way cheaper than what CED Sells the "kit" for....
I got all the brake booster extension parts at Advance Auto, cost something like 10 dollars or something like that.
If you have any questions, just ask me.

you can use the 2.4 manifold on a 2.2 with the 2.2 throttle body with out a tune yes it will work
if you get the 2.4 throttle body however, you will need a tune
