is there a beninfit of just the 2.4 manifold using the 2.2 tb? and is the benifit of having a 2.4 tb just more air can pass at one time?

i just dynoed yesterday with the 2.4 manifold and i was pretty satisfied with the results before the manifold i dynoed at 140hp and 143tq and thats with a full lsj exhaust and drop in K&N filter and a leaking downpipe , results with same mods and still leaking downpipe and 2.4 manifold was 148hp 137tq im just waiting for my intake to come in to help compliment the manifold then hopefully ill be 150hp or more

yeah there is a huge benefit to doing that...the Throttle Body for the 2.4 (unless you get it used) is 400+ dollars brand new plus the cost of the tune to make it work

however if you just port out the 2.2 throttle body a little bit to smooth out the bumps and sharp creases, then it makes alot of difference.. the car pulls harder, the gas mileage is better, and the car acts with a sharper response overall...though the only downfall is the low end of the powerband is reduced a little bit...but after that it's great....the 2.4TB is only a little bit bigger than the 2.2 TB but yeah there is another benefit to using that tb as opposed to the 2.2 tb...but then again...if you don't have the exhaust to compliment the manifold and the larger intake then stick to using the 2.2 tb until you get one....

oh and expect greater power with the 2.4 manifold/2.2tb after a tune is done which i will post dyno sheets for when i get my cable/software in from Vince....

anybody in NC and surrounding areas will be able to get authentic Trifecta Tunes from me in person instead of waiting for the GT Tuner to come in the mail. Just email me and i will set up appointments for tuning. Dyno tuning is also available along with the Tune. Custom Tuning will be available also. I will let everybody know when i have the software and other things to start providing tunes to people here!

everybody is been saying that the 2.4 manifold DOES NOT WORK on the 08s because the 08s manifold is different

its the same engine. and most of the 05-07 parts ive sceen have worked fine with the 08 i could be wrong but i would assume it would fit
