i must of held it at throttle for no more than a second when it when it broke. well im not sure it might have been a lil longer but it broke....but i remember seeing 14.3

you were 14.3 at wot, at what rpm, gear, and how much boost were you showing?

i was in 2nd gear at 8lbs of boost.....it was showing 10.0 and then out of nowhere it just spiked to 14...and it broke....if only i could have taken my foot out sooner

Hmmmm. This is why if I ever do something major on the car, the tuner will be sitting in it tuning it, not doing it by e-mail.

so now that im about to get my bonus...that looks like it went up to 63k.....tight tight....lol....im going to sell my cobalt as is......or mayb ill just change out the engine on there.....with the current tune that it has.....its good to 6k rpm....not the full 7.2k....but either way its faster than any other 2.2 auto.....the only problem is that it needs some engine work......or a used engine for only 500 bucks

well i just submitted my re enlistment package for the Marine Corps....for 4 more years....pretty soon i should be getting a nice little bonus (34k) to fix up my ride....thats if they approve me...which means im not going to sell my baby...so im going to buy most everything that i need from allecotec.com but now i need to find a shop that will install it all for me.....i would do it...but im not too confident in doing internal engine work....do any of you know of any shops that do this kind of work....in or near north san diego or temecula

im going to finsh this baby....one way or the other

so i was looking at getting some new wheels for my ride for when i fix her....and i was looking at the adr model flite 4...as you can see in my sig...i thought those where 19lbs rims but it turns out that they are 23lbs rims.....compared to my current 35lbs rims...i think that would be a good buy...but i was looking for something that was 20lbs>....

should i go ahead and get those 23lb'ers or should i keep looking...some help please

so im thinking of running the aem f/ic...in conjuction with the trifecta tune......for when i build my engine...will this cuz problems for me.....the current tune on the car runs awesome at 7psi....which means that with the f/ic...i can just adjust from there, correct?

never looked into bigger wheels. i'm staying as small as i can and as light as i can. not too small though the brakes i'm swapping for won't go smaller then 17".

naw i think 19's look good but as far as handling goes....you do tend to loose some of that control...ill stick to 18's....mayb 17s.....but i would rather get 18's

not sure but im going to guess somewhere in the 25~28lbs range mayb 30...they look heavy

Well i found out yesterday what the problem is....one of my valves is broke and one of the camshaft rollers flew off the spring and it went down into the timing chain....so i need to take her apart fully to find that roller....and then ill replace the valve......i already have a used head that i was able to get my hands on for FREE!!!.....so i shold have my car up running real soon. once i get some time off work

Trak-Lites FTMFW!!! I love them, but they aren't offered in a 5x110 pattern. The original "theme" I was gonna do on my car was Trak-Lites, cf hood/trunk, coilovers and a street cage inside. Then I saw the wheels weren't offered in a 5x110 pattern, and decided against the racey theme altogether and went with a more ballin street car theme, lol.
