Trak-Lites FTMFW!!! I love them, but they aren't offered in a 5x110 pattern. The original "theme" I was gonna do on my car was Trak-Lites, cf hood/trunk, coilovers and a street cage inside. Then I saw the wheels weren't offered in a 5x110 pattern, and decided against the racey theme altogether and went with a more ballin street car theme, lol.

Well i found out yesterday what the problem is....one of my valves is broke and one of the camshaft rollers flew off the spring and it went down into the timing chain....so i need to take her apart fully to find that roller....and then ill replace the valve......i already have a used head that i was able to get my hands on for FREE!!!.....so i shold have my car up running real soon. once i get some time off work
when i heard your car was down, i KNEW it was either a valve floating or a valve melting.
good to hear it isnt anything catastrophic like cracked block or something like that.

same ****. that happened to my car. most likely your roller rocker is broken. my advice, do what i did, take the engine out, rebuild the top end, clean it all up, get some inconel valves if your running a turbo. turbo cams, supertech or aftermarket valve springs (they float at 6100, regardless of what anyone says, they float at 6100) and maybe even bottom end if your thinking about over 250 horsepower.

well just take it easy till then.
i know itll be hard but you gotta
talk to ray over at bates engineering, thats who rebuilt my head. he has the valves you need for the temps that turbo is gonna produce.

Cobalt LS
well with this new file...im running way better down below...but on the top end around 4k rpm...i start to lean out....vince is still workin on it....when im just crusing i see 45mpg...but in boost...i see about 18mpg...a/f is 11.4 under boost and about 14.4~14.7 while cruising..and hell yea she pulls hard as ****....im running 7lbs right now but i get off the gas as soon as i see lean out.....i still havent seen the full potential of this engine
well looks like im stuck for a lil bit...i need to find a scanner that will read the pulse width of my injectors.....Vince said hes is going to implement something into the GT Tuner to help us read the pulse width....so im kinda stuck at this point.....i might need bigger injectors if they are maxed out.....im currently running the 34s...i might need the 42s...but dont know yet....we shall find out in a few days
well looks like 2morrow im going to go get a new 3" exhaust from Jardine Motorsports.....well....im not sure yet...but ill be expecting a call from my cuz.....hopefully he could it up with a good deal...last i heard $150 for the turbo back...but they want to see my car....so mayb they can hook it up 2morrow.....

I have a 5 speed 2006 cobalt lS i wanna do a turbo charger. I am not spending 3 grand!! LOL Could you pre-make the piping for me and get me a deal on the turbo ur using. I got asked for a cosigner purchasing an SS/TC until my cars paid off. I still have another year and can't wait that long on 160 hp lol

so that spare head I have im porting and polishing it. along with the turbo manifold im going to open it up a bit so the turbo stools up quicker. im finally moving ahead on this project. right now I just want to get it running already then ill swap the internal out for some forged stuff. don't have the money right now to go all out yet. but if everything goes well I should be back on the road in no more than 2 weeks or less. so wish me luck.

theres no way 1 piece of a piston was traveling around the motor going from cylinder to cylinder through the intake... impossible... that is detonation it can get so bad it will eat/punch a whole right through the piston/pistons... i've seen it many times on v-8 without knock sensors running to high compression and to much timing without race gas... you were knocking really bad... thats why i said all the pistons are shot and theres no sence in replacing 1 cause it will just blow again on a different one there all britle now... go forged or go home... your choice though...
