im not racing it...im just dataloggin some WOT runs

just wanted to let you all know that i got a lil creative today....since i work at camp pendleton...government computers....i had no access to my aol account or any other personal email...that i have....so instead i used my phone...and my micro sd card....so threw my phone ive been responding through email to vince and downloading files and uploading them to the tuner through a micro sd to sd adapter...and thats how ive been doing it today...lol

Yeah, I thought you said you were racing a gti, just making sure. I hate for you to end up like so many on this site. Got a turbo on, then racing the same night, then boom what happened.

well looks like im getting alot knock up top...im currently running bkr6e plugs...so im going to go with the bkr8e colder plugs.....and gap them somewhere around 35 and that should fix my knocking problem as well as set me up for a higher boost level

umm they just look like regular plugs you should be running iridium or copper plugs for boost but for your boost range you will also want to get colder plugs anyway

yes i am running iridiums.....but i do need a colder plug...ill see if i can get them today

yes i do....i built it myself....im the DIY kind of guy....only spent 7 dollars on sensor....this guys pod and guages were stolen and all they left was his wideband sensor....so i wired it up and wired it to my apexi turbo timer...it has a afr setting and thats my wideband.....

so looks like my wastegate got stuck yesterday...i guess its from it not being used in almost a year...ill see if i can free it up or if i can find a new one somewhere....by the way its an internal wastegate

Whoa, you didn't overboost did you? That would be a sorry way to find that out.

Honestly, I'd get that thing replaced, or swap turbos asap. If it fails once it will probably fail again.

yea my boy has all kinds of turbos just laying around...ill take a known good wastegate from him on monday...and no i didnt overboost...and theres no need to swap turbos...just the wastegate

You should gap them at 28 that what I have mine gap to. The 2.2 is a lot stronger than people think I ran mine at 12 psi and it leaned out to about 12.8 to 12.9 and I been running like that for a while now. I know its stupid but im looking to build the motor soon. so it don't matter if it blows.
What size turbo at you running?

im runing a gt28....yea im looking at gapping them a bit smaller now...probably somewhere in the 20s range...possibly 28-25

how does it look....i know they are dirty...but i cant help but look at them sexy bitches....lol
well i g2g...check out my new IC and well the bumper i got from julio...yes i know its white...im getting it painted as soon as i get a chance....laters
