2006 2.2L K&N CAI w/SAI

Hey guys. Can someone get me a couple links of where I can buy this intake? The only one I can seem to find is the Short Ram and I want the Cold Air w/SAI hookup. It would be a great help. Thanks.

Anyone? I want to order this ASAP!

isn't that actually a Short Ram as stated in the first post and not a true Cold Air?... or does that shield kinda prevent the hot engine bay heat from getting inthere and direct more from that well area

Well, if it's a CAI, then it's pretty long aand hangs down to the front passneger wheel. I think the one you just posted is a short ram. CAI shouldn't really be next to the engine bay, more like under it.

Well dude, I just went to the K&N website, and all they have listed for a 2.2 Cobalt is a short ram. Click here and fill in the make and model. It'll have 3 options which should be air filter, oil filter, and of course, the SR intake. Nothing mentioned about CAI, just SR.

Sorry, I just saw K&N with SAI. Yeah, afaik, that is the ONLY one for the cobalt, the short ram version. I'm guessing the cold air and cca are for other cars and don't fit ours.

The K&N short ram intake is the only intake that takes into account the SAI.
What others have done is left the SAI tube out and just put a separate breather filter on it.
You could also mod a CAI to accept the SAI tube with a few dollars in parts (and drilling a small hole in the CAI tube).

dont let it being a sri stop you from getting it, there isn't much of a diffrence in terms of power increase in a cai from a sri

Actually, yeah, why don't you want SRI?
