a friend of mine have him on his turbo 2.2 and he likes them
i used to have the stage 2 triflow on my car (lsj) and i like them too, i took it off since i didnt have much time for tunning
you will heard 1000s horrible stories about jbp but at the end most of the people havent try them yet
the only complain that it is that their costumer service sucks!! and in my personal behalf wouldn't do business with them

Way back when, I had JBP cams on my L61 Sunfire and they were nice. Granted getting them took weeks cause they shipped it to the wrong place to get them grinded and was a communication nightmare.
My suggestion, look at Comp Cams and not JBP.
You should have a tune done if you want to notice a significant difference but really you should have a goal in mind because you could easily be spending $1000+ for cams and installation if you're not doing it yourself. Spending that much and having a little bit more power is not really worth it in my opinion. Just trying to be logical with money. If I could have done it again, I wouldn't have done it.
It would be a different story if you had a LS1 or LS2 V8...but you don't, you have a small displacement 4 cylinder engine. Cams alone aren't going to bring a large difference.
My suggestion, look at Comp Cams and not JBP.

Comp cams doesnt make cams for the 2007+ l61, or they haven't last I checked. And a decent cam can add 15 to 20 whp, if thats not worth it for an N/A application idk what is. I wish someone else made cams for 2007+ but Im not going to write these off because its really the only ones available that should work fine.
Also thats completely estimating because honestly, most people don't get tuned properly and don't get dynos done before and after to see the actual difference.

Those cams are $400? If you cant install them or find a way to get someone to help you then your in the wrong hobby. I would never pay that much to have someone to do a simple 3-4 hour job that you can do yourself.

Just because someone can't do something themselves doesn't mean they shouldn't be into cars. Not everyone is or should be comfortable doing certain things.
