his is an 04. it's not the new style mustangs. its a 40th anniversary edition which mould mean 2004. and i'm pretty sure the 40th anniversary package doesn't add 20 horespower it's only appearance stuff.

Bolt-ons won't get you there. My friend Justin spent over 5k for the block, head and cams. I just gave him my m62 so he could boost it. He's looking to see how far he can push things, but it helps to be a gm tech, I guess.

Those old Mustang's are a joke like everyone has said. I used to race my '89 Prelude Si against lots of older V6 Mustangs and Camaros, and I only lost to one of my friends with modified '01 Camaro which I wasn't expecting. But I go back to these guys now with my stock '08 Cobalt thats auto, and I'm still able take them on, the cars light weight helps so much. I've never raced a GT though, don't want to get my pride hurt too bad. They're still all show and no go, the '10 Mustang GT has a tube that funnels engine noise into the cabin so you think you've got way more car than you do.

drive it on venus... the atmospheric pressure is ninety times greater then that on earth
ok , real answer ..its probaly not worth it. high compression maybe in the 11.5:range. and the abialty to rev high, 8-9krpm. and its gonna have to be able to breath well.
so built block, built head, ported or new intake mainy, and then your slew of normal bolt ons, and great tuning. your looking at 2-3k in head work alone, or you just spend that money on a modest turbo set up.

i will on tuesday lol: stg2 comp cams, 2.4 intake mani, 2.4 tb, lsj injectors, cai, 4-2-1 header, clear image catless dp, 3" clear image catback, lightweight crank pulley, lightweight alternator pulley, and getting dyno tuned by vince...so this argument can be solved then lol
