Exclamation 375WHP cobalt tranny problems

i just got my 2.2 automatic back, and it is turboed on 21 psi. but the problem is, i need to know where i can get a built transmission or if anysites off performance parts for my automatic tranny. converting it to 5 speed i heard is just a waste of time, what do you think?

Just got the car yesterday from big three automotive in hinkley Ohio. It's a fully built engine with 20 over weisco pistons and eagle rods. None of those responses helped by the way. I drove the car home last night an when I got home I had no reverse....so I'm guessing the tranny is going. Is there any way to build the auto tranny?

eh dont always have to post a thread on a big build. i never posted mine but its kind of weird to find 25 horses like that. raising your hp line because you forgot the head was done too is kinda weird since at that point how do you know the headwork netted you 25 horses in the first place?
props on a 2.2 pushing that much if you really have one..
but since you asked for help ill help you even though i have this weird smell similar to bullshit flowing out of my speakers.
my suggestion would be to hit your local performance shop. that way they can build your trans the best way to fit YOUR driving. just my opinion

Good job helping this guy out, . Who cares what he has, if he's belligerent about what he has after you help him, then you can lean into him a bit. Why is it that if it's not on CobaltSS.net that it doesn't exist or didn't happen?

It's a 4T45 right? Shouldn't have too much of a problem finding parts to build it. Talk to some local racers who have auto's and ask them about who has a good transmission shop in your area. It's not going to be cheap but you probably already knew that.

certified transmission has thier predator brand trannies that are meant to hold up to a lot of abuse give them a call and see if they have one for the cobalt.

This is what's wrong with this site. Guy comes in with a legit question, everyone who has no buisness being in the thread anyway decides to be a ******* comeidan.

If you can't help, gtfo. Why doubt his work? Because you haven't done it? You chase away people who aren't afraid to do work on the car, because you've never seen it done. Maybe if you were helpful or shut the **** up and listened, you'd see what he did and believe it.
