I'm old school
Gee, that looks a lot like a copy and paste of my exact notes from another thread.
Use ARP head studs instead of the GM stock head bolts. If you buy the head gasket "kit", it will come with replacement bolts. Just get the gasket by itself.
I have a stock head, no work, and shouldn't have a problem.
I used Bates springs on my first engine, one broke, causing a valve to drop and detroying that engine. Bates reports it was the first spring they have ever had break. Whatever. I am using Ferrea now. Dual coils, so if it breaks, the valve won't drop. I also have Ferrea valves and retainers. Stock valves may not be adviseable above the 300 HP range. Use either Ferrea or LSJ valves. Expect to spend some money here.
The Bates timing chain tensioner does not fit L61 Ecotecs manufactured after 2005. Different head casting. You won't need it.
Yes, IPT did my trans, which included all that stuff.
Your fuel system and exhaust parts will be part of whatever turbo kit you get. You shouldn't have to get those separately.
